Relient K road trip

The dream started out as I had gotten tickets to a Relient K show.

YAY

I was in this debate with my mom about who I could bring with me, as the show was in a far-away part of Michigan that we would have to road-trip to.

At first, the companions in question were Franny or Kevin. My mom eliminated Kevin as an option because it was innappropriate that we'd be sharing a hotel room together on our way there. She did not say anything about Franny, but there was this weird side-dream about Franny stuck in there.

Franny had this new boyfriend, whose name might have been Chris, but he was not the new boyfriend named Chris that she actually has, he was a new NEW boyfriend named Chris, and he had long brown hair (shoulder-length) and a big brown beard. Not really her type at all. And he had this smile that crinkled up his entire face, so by the end of the dream I could kind of see how he was cute under all that hair, but still. And he was nice enough.

Anyway, Franny was ruled out as an option as well, so I (for some strange reason) chose to take Brittany with me. (A girl I know from school.)

We made a stop-over at my Grandma 'leta's house on the way there and her and Megan were sitting at the dining room table eating Thanksgiving dinner. (?)

We finally got to the concert and were, for some reason, behind the band. Matt Thiessen was picking a few people to do this dance to a specific song during the 'pre-show' (no idea what that is) and he chose me because I was wearing a tie-dye shirt! So I got to stand by Matt Hoopes and try to follow along with this other girl in tie-dye to do these choreographed motions to a song.

Then we chatted with Matt Hoopes and, all too soon, my mom woke me up so I did not have a chance to hang out with Matt Thiessen. :(

In any case, great dream.
