The dream started out in a stress-like manner.
It was the season review concert for marching band, and I was supposed to be conducting "The Impression That I Get." So I conducted two blank measures and yelled "1...2...1 2 3 4" like I always do, but nobody started playing in the third measure like they were supposed to. So I tried to save it, and kept conducting and gave another "1 2 3 4" but still, no one came in. They all just stared at me. So I stopped conducting and tried to start them again, but they still didn't play.
At this point, Mr. G (band director) came out to save me, and started the band. However, all they did was play a gross note and then kind of fall apart by the second beat. He tried to start them again and again and it was horrible and I could feel the frustration of the audience... it was pretty nightmarish.
Then the dream took a random turn and I was in my garage with this girl I know, Abby. We were waiting for something, I think, and I remember her mom calling her to tell her she was coming to get her, so that was what we must have been waiting for.
At this point, an old crazy lady started shuffling around my yard, but in the dream it was Abby's yard. I went over to the lady and started leading her out of the yard, saying something like, "Move along, move along." (She kind of reminded me of Bathilda Bagshot from HP&TDH)
After the old lady shuffled away, these two little woodland creatures that looked like a fox and a tiny white guinea pig started running around the garage, so I had to chase them out, too.
We got kind of bored, and eventually the conversation turned to human nature and the issue of Abby's father came up. (It's kind of private, so I won't go into the details. Basically, there was an incident and now it is called into question several times since then whether or not her father is a good person.) I argued that he was and the person on the other end of the incident was also to blame. She didn't seem upset that I had brought up the subject.
The end.
