Grace and Connor are in a musical.

This dream begins as my good old friend, the anxiety dream. I'm at a marching band event at church, but I have forgotten my ENTIRE UNIFORM! This is very unlike me, because I tend to be a responsible person. Being the head drum major, it was extremely embarrassing to have to go up and tell Ms. Mer that I didn't have my uniform. Thus, the next five minutes were a frenzy of trying to reach my mom from several different phones, mainly one in the church that I couldn't figure out how to work.

I finally reached my mom, who sent my dad over with my band uniform. I ran outside with Ms. Mer, who was acting disappointed in me, to meet him and get my uniform, but as we were going back inside, a bunch of people started inexplicably releasing hot air balloons, and one of them started deflating just like a normal balloon and shooting right towards us. I was terrified, but Ms. Mer and Dad didn't seem concerned. They acted like I was stupid for not knowing what to do.

I got my uniform on finally, and met up with Connor (my fellow dm) to go into the room where we were supposed to be performing a little early. We got into the room and saw that it was an auditorium and was filled with people, a musical already in session. We saw that the rest of the marching was sitting up in a side balcony above the stage, and not knowing how to get up there, I decided to stroll onstage and see if we could get there from backstage. Connor just went with it.

It was during a scene where people were coming and going and milling around, so I figured it would be okay for us to walk through the set. And it was, we got up there and walked through and one of the characters made a funny comment about hating musicians (haha) that made the audience laugh. We got backstage and couldn't seem to find stairs or anything, but figured that we'd eventually be performing onstage, so stayed onstage as some extras (in full band uniforms) in the background.

We hung out there for a while, occasionally joining in during a few dances during musical numbers. At some point, my band uniform magically turned into a beautiful white-ish clear-ish dress with a huge poofy skirt, but I was still wearing my gloves and hat with a plume. I think I looked pretty cute.

We never ended up with the rest of the band, and we never performed, because then that dream ended and I had a new one about a giant old man/fish thing that was a tourist attraction that my family and I went to see. It was really surreal and weird and I don't really feel like going into details.

The end.
