Funny story...

I had to be up at 8:30 this morning to go to Solo & Ensemble to play my flute solo. My alarm went off and my dad woke me up at 8:30. But instead of getting up, I fell asleep and had this anxiety dream.

In my dream, my brother and I were getting into the van with my dad to drive to Solo & Ensemble. I had gotten ready quickly and was itching to get there early, but my dad and brother were taking their sweet time.

I remember us stumbling around in the garage, trying to get ourselves put together and in the van. When we finally got onto the road, my dad once again became Steve Carell. (I dont' know why my sub-conscious does that.) We decided he needed a haircut, and so we stopped at a barber shop that was on the way to the Solo & Ensemble site.

There were two barbers sitting in the barber shop, both older, grey-haired men but one looked younger and I think they were father and son. They seemed very friendly and wanted to tell us stories, like old men usually do, but I dragged Dad/Steve Carell and brother back out to the car because we were going to be late.

When I woke up from this dream, it was 9:15 and I had to leap out of bed and speed to Solo & Ensemble. This is actually one of the first times my anxiety dream has been at all accurate.

That's right. That's my dad.
