In this dream, I could make myself completely invisible. I did so one morning and ran down the street to my ex-boyfriend’s house while invisible. (In reality he lives several miles away from me.)

I got into the house when his mother ran outside and started yelling about how she wanted relish sandals. (I don’t even know where that came from.) I snuck indoors and up to my ex’s room, where he was sleeping still.
I decided to get into his bed with him, even though I knew the second I made a sound he would know that it was me and not his current girlfriend. (I think her voice is higher than mine.)
I snuggled up behind him and he woke up, not seeing anyone in his bed but feeling me behind him. He said something like “Oh good, you’re here again,” as if he were talking to his current girlfriend, which led me to assume that she could also turn invisible and snuck into his house occasionally as well. It made me intensely uncomfortable that he thought I was his current girlfriend, as my intention hadn’t been to cuddle, but just to see what he would do.
I decided that I’d had enough, I didn’t want to give myself away when he realized I wasn’t saying anything or responding to him, so I climbed out of his bed and started opening the window to escape. Unfortunately, the window screen was pretty hard to get out, so Ex-Boyfriend noticed me escaping and started grabbing at my wrists, trying to get me to stay and asking me why I was mad at him. (Still under the impression I was his current girlfriend.)
Eventually, I escaped out the window and ran down the sidewalk, still invisible, until I was sure the coast was clear. The neighbors’ dogs could sense me as I ran past.
Next, I became visible and went to a large strip mall/Costco-type place with a group of my friends. I’m not sure who all was with me but I know that one of the girls was one of my Latino friends.
We walked around, I bought several cookies, and then I came across a girl I know, Bridget, in a section of the mall where some of the kids from my school were hanging out. I was surprised to see that she had no legs, although I had somehow already known this in the dream. I commented to her about her legs and made a joke, which she thankfully laughed about and said that she didn’t have her fake legs with her. I kept trying to remember what had happened to her, but all I could remember was that it was some sort of freak accident.

Next, I went outside to a horse corral and got on a horse as an instructor stood by. I kicked its sides and we cantered down the length of the corral, turned, and cantered back. The horse was reluctant to stop and I had to pull on the reins and yell “Whoa!” over and over before it would obey me. I was embarrassed at first, but then the instructor said that I was the best client she’d had all day.
Finally, I got into my van to wait for my family. A creepy middle-aged bald man started walking towards the van so I turned invisible before he saw me. Unfortunately, he proceeded to get into the driver’s seat of the van before I could lock the doors and began driving it away. I stayed invisible, petrified, especially when I recognized him as a mentally unstable criminal that we were supposed to be watching out for.
Since it’s the evening in real life now, I cannot remember how this dream ends. This is very disappointing to me. I’m pretty confident that I got away from the car-jacker, but there was nothing more about my invisibility, why I could do it, or what I did with it.
